Embark on a transformative 10-week academic journey by participating in the upcoming Undergraduate Summer Program hosted by the University of Miami's College of Engineering. This program, accessible to both domestic and international students, is meticulously crafted to encourage collaborative engagement with esteemed faculty on cutting-edge research projects, fostering an environment of intellectual exchange and cultural enrichment.
The summer program covers the following key components, creating a comprehensive and academically enriching experience:
1. Explore essential aspects of graduate education in the United States.
2. Gain an understanding of the standard degree programs in Engineering, focusing on both master’s and Ph.D. levels.
3. Explore the preparatory measures essential for pursuing graduate studies, providing participants with valuable guidance.
4. Receive comprehensive insights into the intricacies of the graduate school application process.
5. Explore strategic domains within Engineering education and research at the University of Miami.
6. Participants will be strategically paired with faculty members or doctoral students, engaging in hands-on research projects that contribute to the academic and research objectives of the College of Engineering.
7. Engage in hands-on experiential research within the laboratories of faculty mentors, gaining practical insights into research methodologies.
8. The program will be concluded with a Closing Poster Session, where students will present their research results. This session will include a closing discussion with faculty mentors, and industry personnel from ECAP will be invited to address and engage with the students.
