Instructions On How To Apply

  1. Sign Up for an account on CollegeNet. Please note: Your application is not complete and we cannot begin your application review until we receive all required documentation. Your non-refundable application fee ($85) must be paid at the time you submit the application online. The application priority deadline is December 1. Applications received after this deadline will be reviewed on a space-available basis.
  2. A student copy of your transcripts in English should be uploaded into the CollegeNet application portal from each post-secondary institution (college or university) that you have attended regardless if it was for a certificate, class, intensive program or degree. If admitted you will be required to have each of the institutions you attended to send an Official Transcript in English from the institution(s) and proof from them that you have successfully completed your degree as indicated on your application to our Office of Admission address found below. This transcript has to be mailed by the Registrar of the University directly to the Admissions Office, College of Engineering, address found below.
  3. Submit three (3) letters of recommendation electronically as outlined on the application for admission.
  4. GRE Scores are not required. All applicants who send GRE scores must submit official (within five years of exam date) Graduate Record Examination(GRE) scores, which may include the aptitude portion as well as the most relevant advanced test in the major field. Be sure to use the GRE code of 5815, so that your official scores are sent directly to us. Scores will only be considered official if sent directly to us from the testing agency. Institutional exam results are not valid for admission purposes. Please refer to table below.*
  5. The application and admission process for international applicants is the same as it is for domestic applicants with the exception of a language requirement. All departments in the College of Engineering require a comprehensive knowledge of the English language. Students are to demonstrate proficiency by taking the TOEFL examination and send the scores with the application.  The immigration process is addressed after a formal offer of admission is provided by the admitting department.
  6. International students are required to submit additional information about English proficiency, transcript evaluation and visa requirements.
