The program's mission will be accomplished by providing integrated and multidisciplinary scientific and technical education. Graduate students will be involved in translating scientific discoveries to modern technologies and novel products that benefit the materials industry. The graduates will be trained in computational and experimental materials design, fabrication, characterization, testing, and manufacturing advances, among other topics.
