Monthly Brown-Bag Seminar: Science And Technology With No Boundaries

Everyone is invited! During this monthly informal brown-bag one-hour seminar, a faculty, a staff member or a student from a research lab at CoE or beyond the college will talk about their research topic. We aim to achieve several goals:

  1. stimulate discussions which could lead to cross-disciplinary research projects and proposals;
  2. help researchers at the college and across the university understand research by their peers within the university;
  3. educate and motivate students about engineering research with an emphasis on Advanced Materials.

We encourage to spread the word about the seminar among your friends and colleagues at the U. Tentatively, we are planning to have seminars every third Wednesday of each month. Depending on the excitement around the event, we may decide to organize seminars more frequently.

The topic of the last on-site seminar on April 17th, 2020: Neuromorphic Computing

The next on-site seminar is planned for Wednesday, August 18, 3:00-4:00 PM.  If you would like to speak on August 18 or at one of the next seminars, please send the topic to Sakhrat Khizroev at skhizroev@miami.edu.
