In an effort to enhance collaborative research between the RSMAS and engineering faculty, the Deans of the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science and the College of Engineering, along with input from the University of Miami Research Administration and Technology Transfer Offices, have launched a half-day Collaborative Research Exchange Forum (CREF). The fourth CREF of this series and the first one between RSMAS and engineering will be held on February 18, 2011 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the SLAB conference room (Room 103) located on the RSMAS campus and at the Commons Restaurant at RSMAS from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. The interdisciplinary theme for the February 18 CREF is “Environmental Sensing”.
