Bob Williamson has helped launch, manage and fund more than 30 new companies in his career. He helped found New World Angels (NWA) in 2003. NWA is now the largest early stage investor group in Florida.

In July 2017, he joined the College of Engineering as Entrepreneur-in-Residence to work with students. In addition to helping to teach some introductory courses in entrepreneurship and creativity, he also will act as an advisor to individuals and groups. Additionally, he will help set-up the new makerspace.

It is very likely that any engineering graduate will find him or herself working for an early stage company at some point is his career. Learning how a technology entrepreneur thinks will enable you to be more successful.

And many of you will yourself want to start your own company. It isn’t easy, but being prepared makes it much more likely you’ll succeed.
