Innovative Researcher Receives Microsoft Azure Research Award
Industrial Engineering assistant professor, Ramin Moghaddass, was recently selected as a recipient of a $20,000.00 Microsoft Azure for Research award. The Microsoft award provides massive computational resources and cloud computing time to select faculty, researchers and graduate students affiliated with an academic institution or non-profit research laboratory. The sponsorship will support Moghaddass in conducting cutting-edge research in the area of Transforming Large-Scale Sensor Data into Real-time Insights and Operational Intelligence. This award will help Moghaddass and his team scale up their current data-intensive experiments and create a robust framework for large-scale network monitoring using multi-source, multi-scale and multi-dimensional sensor data.
