Full-Time Lecturer Position in Biomedical Engineering

The College of Engineering of the University of Miami (UM in Coral Gables, FL) invites applications and nominations for a lecturer position for the Department of Biomedical Engineering.
This position will support the undergraduate and graduate educational mission of the Department of Biomedical Engineering with a focus on the area of Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering. The Biomaterials and Tissue concentration is the most popular concentration of the undergraduate Biomedical Engineering curriculum. To meet the educational needs of this concentration the Department is currently expanding the hands-on practical training opportunities of both undergraduate and Master's students in the instructional Tissue Engineering Laboratory. The Lecturer will be responsible for managing the operation of the Tissue Engineering Laboratory, including coordination and supervision of graduate teaching assistants and supervision and mentoring of undergraduate and graduate student projects.
The position will require a Ph.D. degree and a minimum of 5 years of teaching undergraduate and graduate experience as well as administering research projects.
