Goal of Organization:
The goal of the Graduate Engineering Student Council is to promote and enhance graduate studies, research and further education development by building communication channels between undergraduate & graduate students, faculty and administration within the College of Engineering, as well as encouraging social and professional development activities

Guidelines on how students can join your organizaiton:
All the graduate engineering students are automatically GESC members. To join the executive board or be a department representative, they can email any of the officers. Contact information of all the officers are provided in the flyers being handed out in GESC events.

Summary of events or activities your Organization hosted, or sponsored both on and off campus this year:

  1. Lunch and Lecture Series:
    Topic: Maximizing Your Engineering Research with Engineering Village and Knovel
    Attendees: 29 students
  2. E-week Research Expo:
    Poster Presentation Award
    Attendees: 97 Students
  3. Bowling Social:
    Attendees: 15 Students
  4. Ask Me Anything:
    Meeting between graduate students and department heads to discuss any suggestion or concerns. This event was hold in 5 departments attendees range between 7 and 20 attendees per department.
