Catarina Castruccio-Prince, MPH ’17 is the interim director of development for the College of Engineering. She is responsible for identifying and fostering relationships with alumni, friends, parents and industry partners in order to build support for the implementation of the College’s priorities.

Prior to joining the University of Miami in 2016, Catarina worked in Washington, DC serving as the program manager for the James Renwick Alliance, a national non-profit that celebrates the achievements of America’s craft artists. From 2007-2013 she worked at the Getty Foundation, which supports individuals and institutions committed to advancing the greater understanding and preservation of the visual arts in Los Angeles and throughout the world. During her time there as an assistant to the deputy director, she was involved in many aspects of grant management, communications, and program development. Outside of the office, she is an active member of the Harvard Class of 2001 Class Committee and co-chaired her 15th reunion in 2017. Catarina also serves as an alumni interviewer for Harvard Admissions.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in anthropology from Harvard and recently completed a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Miami, where she held an internship at the Health Foundation of South Florida and was a Consumer Assister Analysis Fellow at Enroll America. She also co-authored a journal article published in Health Education and Behavior in Sept. 2016.
