Biography

Prannoy Suraneni is an Assistant Professor in the Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering Department at the University of Miami. He works on cementitious materials and his primary research interests are infrastructure sustainability, concrete durability, new and advanced infrastructure materials, supplementary cementitious materials, chemical admixtures, and cement hydration. He obtained his B. Tech from Indian Institute of Technology (2008), his M.S. from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2011), and his Ph.D. from ETH Zurich (2015), all in Civil Engineering. Prior to joining the University of Miami, he worked for two years as post doctoral researcher at Oregon State University.
