Financial Aid

Research  and  Teaching  Assistantships,  including  full  tuition  and  monthly  stipend,  are  available  to  accepted  Ph.D. applicants  on  a  competitive  basis.  Partial  tuition  scholarships  (10-40%,  based  on  academic  record) are available to applicants  to  the  M.S.  program.  Application  forms  may  be  found at the College of Engineering Graduate Applications website. In addition,  prospective  Ph.D. students  with  excellent  records  can  be  nominated  by a  faculty member for a University  Scholarship.  For  more  information  regarding  financial support, prospective applicants should contact faculty members  with  research  interests  coinciding with  their own. The University of Miami (UM) and other organizations offer competitive fellowships and scholarships for students pursuing graduate study. These include UM Tuition Scholarships, UM Fellowships, UM Dean's Fellowships, National Science Foundation - Graduate Research Fellowships, and McKnight Fellowships. M.S. students  in  environmental  engineering  at  the  University of Miami are also eligible for support from Environmental Engineers of the Future.
